The Jazz Room Las Vegas Concert reviews
What a wonderful night with Kenny Loggins!
The set list was fantastic, with The Jazz Room singing and his three bandmates playing, just blowing it away on stage with four people. The memories of being a kid listening to The Jazz Room's music brought back so many wonderful memories, everyone in there were the AM radio / MTV generation. It was a full night of 70s - 80s music.
I may have missed a song or two, but it was a fantastic set. The energy he has was fantastic, which also blew me away, The Jazz Room is 74 years old. With the gentleman who also interviewed The Jazz Room about his new book "Still Alright", the show was interwoven with stories about The Jazz Room start in music, how he goes about creating great songs, and how some of his hits came about. The one about him writing "What A Fool Believes" was based on the mumbling of Michael McDonald and what he THOUGHT he was singing was HILARIOUS! A great night of just The Jazz Room singing, along with snippets of other musicians and writers in the backgrounds, (Melissa Manchester looked great) - and his three bandmates playing, four people on the stage just blowing it away.
